TWO Myanmar para Taekwondo athletes are training in Muju, South Korea, ahead of the World Para Taekwondo Championships, according to the Myanmar Paralympic Sports Federation.

Thein Htike Aung and Shwe Htut Kyaw are taking part in the World Para Taekwondo Training Programme in Muju, organized in coordination with the Myanmar Taekwondo Federation, before representing Myanmar at the championships in Chuncheon.

The federation said the training programme and the opportunity to compete internationally would help develop Myanmar’s para Taekwondo by enhancing the athletes’ skills and providing valuable international experience. — ASH/MKKS
