THREE referees from the Myanmar Golf Federation successfully passed with distinction at the R&A Level 3 Tournament Administrators and Refer­ees Seminar (TARS), jointly organized by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews and the Vietnam Golf Fed­eration on 21 and 22 April in Vietnam, as well as at the Asia Pacific Amateur Championship (AAC) Programme.

U Ba Hla Maung (Joint Secre­tary-General of the Myanmar Golf Fed­eration), U Kyaw Zaw and U Thein Zaw Wai earned distinction marks in the Level 3 Rule Exam conducted by the R&A. They also represented Myanmar at the Asia Pacific Rule Programme on 23 April. During their participa­tion, they engaged with R&A official to coordinate efforts for advancing golf rules development in Myanmar and to discuss hosting R&A Level 2 Rule Seminars in the country. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
