UNION Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi received Mr Mongkol Visitstump, Ambassador of Thailand to Myanmar, yesterday afternoon at the meeting hall of the Union Minister’s Office in Nay Pyi Taw.
During the meeting, both sides held cordial and open discussions on potential cooperation between Myanmar and Thailand in reducing transboundary haze pollution and in environmental conservation.
Also present at the meeting were Deputy Minister U Min Thu, departmental officials from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, and officials from the Thai Embassy in Myanmar. — MNA/MKKS
