The Myanmar U-19 football team departed for Thailand on 1 September 2024 to participate in a series of friendly matches as part of their preparations for the 2025 AFC U-20 Championship.
Led by head coach U Aung Naing, the squad, consisting of promising young talents, will spend two weeks in Thailand honing their skills to perfection and competing in five friendly fixtures.
The team’s schedule includes matches against Oman on 3 September, Bahrain on 5 September, Oman again on 8 September, and Bhutan on 11 and 13 September. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
