Myanmar U-23 men’s football squad comprising 26 tentative players has been camped in Yangon since 21 May for the warm-up match against Vietnamese U-23 team.

Sagaing United’s midfielder Myo Min Phyo has been added to the tentative squad for the game against Vietnam. The team will depart for Vietnam on 5 June morning. Despite being undergone training, the players from tentative line-up will be allowed to represent their clubs to compete in the 2019 General Aung San Shield. The media are invited to cover the training session of the tentative footballers at Thuwunna Stadium on 4 and 5 June.

The friendly match between Myanmar U-23 men’s football team and Vietnamese U-23 rivals will be held at the Viet Tri stadium in the northern province of Phu Tho in Hanoi, Vietnam on 7 June.—By Kyaw Htike Soe
