Myanmar wins another gold medal at 14th World Dragon Boat Championship

MYANMAR  won  a  gold,  silver  and  two  bronze  medals  in  yes-terday’s 14th World Dragon Boat Racing  Championship  at  Pat-taya, Thailand yesterday.


After earning two gold med-als at the previous days’ events, Myanmar  was  awarded  one  more medal yesterday.


In  the  the  Under-24  Wom-en’s  200  Meter  Boat  Race,  My-anmar won a gold medal with a remarkable record of 1 minutes and  154.4  seconds,  while  host  Thailand won a silver medal and United States team received the bronze medal.


In  the  Under-24  Men’s  200  Meter Boat Race Event, the My-anmar team won a silver medal, while host Thailand won the gold medal  and  Hong  Kong  won  a  bronze medal.


In  the  Premier  Men’s  and  Women’s mixed 200 Meter Boat Race Event, Myanmar won the bronze medal, while Canada won the  gold  medal  and  Thailand  team won a silver medal.Myanmar  has  won  three  gold medals, three silver medals and  five  bronze  medals.
