Kyaw Myint Than secured a bronze medal at the Thailand Princess Cup — FEI SEA Cup — CSIJ-B Pattaya 2024, held in Pattaya, Thailand, from 7 to 10 December. The junior competi­tion for participants aged 14 to 18 featured competitors from seven countries. Thailand won gold, Cambodia took silver, and Myanmar claimed bronze.

Phyo Kyaw Myint Than par­ticipated under the Myanmar Equestrian Federation, accom­panied by coach Ma Ei Thet Mon. Myanmar Equestrian Federa­tion President U Pyone Maung Maung also attended to support the athlete and returned to Yan­gon yesterday evening.

They were warmly wel­comed by the Principal of the Institute of Sports and Physical Education (Yangon), U Aung Myo Win, officials, members of the My­anmar Equestrian Federation, faculty members and students from the Nationalities Youth Re­source Development Degree Col­lege (Yangon). — Arkar Linn/KZL
