TEAM  Myanmar  won  a  gold  medal in the 200 Meter women’s traditional boat race at the 30th South East Asian Games, held yesterday  at  the  Subic  Nrdku  Malawaan Park in Philippines.


There  were  women  ath-letes participating on the team, and  Myanmar  won  first  place  with  54.947  seconds,  while  In-donesia  took  the  silver  medal  with 54.945 seconds. Meanwhile, Thailand  grabbed  the  bronze  medal in the tourney.


In the Taekwondo compe-tition in Rizal Memorial Sports Complex  Court-1,  Myanmar  athlete  Sun  Shine  took  the  bronze medal, while Myanmar’s Phone Thet Naing took another  bronze  medal  in  the  Free  Style  Poomsae  event  in  Taek-wondo.


Also, in the men’s individual canoe competition in Subic Nrdku Malawaan Park, Myan-mar’s Myo Hlaing Win earned the  silver  medal,  while  Indo-nesia won the gold medal and Thailand  secured  the  bronze  medal.


Also in the women’s double 1000  Meter  Rowing  competi-tion at the same venue, Ni Lar Win and Shwe Zin Latt took the bronze medals. Currently, My-anmar had already won 3 gold medals, 11 silver medals and 33 bronze medals in the 30th SEA Games.—Lynn Thit (Tgi)
