Members of Myat Saydana blood donors association yesterday donated blood to patients in Pakokku General Hospital in Magway Region.

The association which is based in Myinkaba Village, Nyaung-U Township was founded by Sayadaw U Thargara of Yadanarbonsan Monastery in Bagan.

Blood donors donated a total of 55 bottles of blood including 18 bottles of “A” blood group, 15 bottles of “B” blood group, 18 bottles of “0” blood group for patients in the hospital with the help of staff from Pakokku blood bank, according to U Zaw Pway, a member of the association in Nyaung-U Township.—Ye Win Naing (Nyaung-U)
