The final game of an inter-district U-25 men’s basketball championship was held in conjunction with a prize awarding ceremony at Nyeinchan Thayar Indoor Stadium in Myitkyina, the capital city of Kachin State on 30 June.
In the final match, the team (a) representing Myitkyina District beat the team (b) representing Myitkyina District. Officials from the Sports and Physical Education Department under the Ministry of Health and Sports presented consolation prizes to the runner-up, 3rd, 4th and 5th position winning teams.
The team (a) representing Myitkyina District was crowned the awards and champion trophy by an official from the SPED and Kachin State Minister for Social Affairs U Nay Win. The tourney was organized by the SPED.—Myo Myint Soe
