The award-winning doyen writers staying in Nay Pyi Taw to attend the Ceremony of National Lifetime Awards for Literary Achievement and National Literary Awards for 2022 received medical checkups at Nay Pyi Taw's 1,000-bed General Hospital. They paid homage to the Maravijaya Buddha Image yesterday.

Specialists at the hospital checked their conditions, focusing on diabetes, hypertension, and heart diseases, among other necessary examinations, and provided health advice.

Later in the evening, the literati visited the Maravijaya Buddha Image, the world's tallest sitting marble Buddha image in Buddha Park in Dekkhinathiri Township.
