Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman Dr. Myo Aung met with Hluttaw representatives, departmental officials, ward/village administrators, local elders of Ottarathiri Township at the township general administrative department meeting hall yesterday morning to learn about the regional development works in the township and the requirement of the people.
Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman said the meeting was held because required work processes for regional development works to be conducted in fiscal year 2019-2020 with Nay Pyi Taw Council budget is best known and understood by ward/village administrators who are close and practically working with the people.
Next, township administrator U Nyi Nyi Aung explained about regional development matters and ward/village administrators and local elders raised regional development matters consisting of land required for a new school building, obtaining farm land form 7, machinery assistance during crop harvesting and construction of a sub-rural health centre. Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman and officials in return provided explanations.
The meeting was attended by Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman Dr. Myo Aung, Nay Pyi Taw Council members, Amyotha Hluttaw representative U Maung Maung Swe, Pyithu Hluttaw representative U Kyaw Min Hlaing, officials from Nay Pyi Taw level departments, district and township level departmental officials, ward/village administrators and people from the wards and villages.
After the meeting Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman and officials went to Uppatasanti Pagoda and inspected the status of works conducted to donate gold plates to the pagoda. — MNA (Translated by Zaw Min)
