A ceremony to open a new branch of Myanma Economic Bank was held in front of its office in Kanbalu, Sagaing Region yesterday.

U Khin Maung Nyunt, Manager of the region Myanma Economic Bank, U Tin Htoo Maung, chairman of the district management committee and U Nyan Min Tun, chairman of the community leaders officially cut a ribbon to open the new Bank building and unveiled the signboard of the Bank and sprinkled scented water on it. Then, they post for a group photo and inspected the building.

The new building measuring 60 feet in length and 30 feet in height was built by spending K 69.3 million by Myanmar Khun Aa thit Company, it is learnt.—Aung Win Nyein (Kantbalu)
