Bored pile works for construction of a new bridge near Pyan Yekyaw Village on the Pathei-Ngapudaw Road to replace old one is being carried out by the Department of Road under the Ministry of Construction.
The new bridge will of reinforced concrete and will be 24 ft. long and 30 ft. wide. Ks. 108 million from the regional government’s fund will be spent on construction of the bridge. A temporary bailey bridge was built since 5 August to be used by motorists, motorcyclists and pedestrians for better convenience while the new bridge is being constructed.—Hla Min Htut (IPRD)
