Sponsored by Tangyan Township Public Health Department, a new building for rural health department (branch) of Nannhuu Lwelkar village was inaugurated at the village, Tangyan Township, Shan State this morning.

At the ceremony, Chairman of Tangyan Township Management Committee Administrator U Nyi Nyi Htwe and MP U Sai Maung Pwint delivered the opening remarks and Township Deputy Medicine Officer Dr Soe Than Htike explained about Nannhuu Lwelkar rural health centre (branch).

The Township Administrator, the MP and the Township Deputy Medicine officer cut the ribbons to formally open the ceremony before inspecting the new building.

The new building was built by United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) from 3 June 2018. The rural health centre (branch) conducts health activities inclusive of prevention and treatment of local community from 11 villages. –Minn Lwin Oo (IPRD)
