An inauguration of a concrete bridge was held in Lungyin Village, Mongpan Township in Shan State (South) this morning.

The bridge constructed between the town of Mongpan and Lungyin Village will bring considerable economic benefits to nearby villages.

The inter-village rural bridge measuring 40 ft. in length, 18 ft. in width and 14 ft. in height was built with Ks. 108 million allocated by the regional government.

The facility was formally opened by regional lawmakers. The township Administrator U Soe Min Htet, Departmental officials, members of social organizations and locals attended the event.
