An opening ceremony of a new concrete road conducted by Singu Township Rural Development Department under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation took place at the archway of the concrete road in Shwelae village, Singu Township, Mandalay Region yesterday.

At the ceremony, MP Dr Kyaw Naing Oo delivered an introductory speech and the Chairman of Village Development Committee explained the work progress. A local people said that the road will also improve the socio-economic status of local residents.

The road which is 700 feet long, 12 feet wide and 6 inches high was constructed under the village development program (VDP).-Minn Zaw Oo (IPRD)
