Hlaingbwe, 10 February 

A ceremony to launch a new concrete road was opened in Takhutpo village, Hlaingbwe township, Kayin state yesterday morning with remarks by U Saw Chit Khin, chairman of Kayin State Hluttaw and an official of Border Guard Force. 

The concrete road was constructed by Rural Development Department with the help of World Bank.

It is learnt that the road, measuring 1648 feet long and 12 feet wide, was built with the fund of the RDD and contributions by local people starting from 18 December 2018, and it was finished on 29 January 2019.---Khin San Myint (IPRD)
