A ceremony to put in service a new concrete road was held in Kyontone village of Thabaw Thabyu village-tract, Danubyu Township, Ayeyarwady Region yesterday.

The road was constructed by Rural Development Department, Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock Breeding and Irrigation under people-centered projects.

At the event, MP U Aung Naing Tun of Ayeyarwady Region Hluttaw and U Wai Lin Maung, head of the Township Rural Development Department gave remarks, followed by an explanation of works done by U Myo San, the technical team leader of the project. Then, a village elder spoke words of thank.

The new concrete road is 1975 feet long, six feet wide and six inches thick.— Aung Thu Hein ( Danubyu)
