A ceremony to put a new concrete road into service, built by the township Rural Development Department under the ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, was held in Daye village, Chaungsone township, Mon state yesterday with an opening speech by MP U Lin Tin Htay of Amyotha hluttaw.

Then, staff officer U Banya of the township RDD dealt with construction works done. Afterwards, township administrator U Tun Aung Kyaw, MP U Lin Tin Htay and departmental heads cut a ribbon to open the road.

The concrete road that measures 970 feet in length, ten feet in wide, six feet in thick was built at a cost of over K 10.99 million, it is learnt.— Township IPRD  Translated by Khine Thaw
