A ceremony to open a new office of the District General Administration Department was held at the Thaungyin Hall in Ward-4 in the town of Myawaddy, Kayin State yesterday morning.

First of all, Secretary of Kayin State Government U Kyaw Soe delivered an opening speech. Then, community leader U Sein Thaung spoke words of thanks to officials.

Then, Secretary of Kayin State Government U Kyaw Soe, the Pyithu Hluttaw Representative U Sein Bo, the region Huttaw Lawmakers U Thant Zin Aung and U Aik Kyan Kham, the District Administrator U Tay Zar Aung and deputy Administrator U Aung Chan Nyein, the township Administrator U Phyo Zaw Ko Ko and departmental officials cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the new office, and unveiled the signboard of the office and sprinkled scented water on it.  

Stake driving ceremony of construction of the office of the district Administration Department was reportedly held at the designated place on 3 March 2020 by relevant officials.
