A ceremony to open a new office of Department of Rural Development was held in Kayan Township, Yangon Region this morning.

The Pyithu Hluttaw Representative Dr. Aye Min, the region Hluttaw lawmakers U Hla Toe and U Thein Zaw Lat, the township Administrator U Min San Htun and staff officer of the township DRD U Tin Myo Lwin cut a ribbon to open the new office, unveiled the signboard of the office and sprinkled scented water on it. Then, they posed for a group photo and looked round the building.

The two-story office measuring 40 ft. in length, 36 ft. in width and 23 ft. in height was built by Maha Shwe Min Thar.
