A ceremony to put a new earth road into commission was held in Thanpayapin village, Pauknwechon village-tract, Pyay township, Bago region was held yesterday with remarks by MP Dr. Soe Soe Kyi of Pyithu Hluttaw and MP U Thet Win Hlaing of Bago Region Hluttaw.

Then, U Tun Tun Kyaw, head of Rural Development Department explained works done to build the new road. Afterwards, MPs and head of RDD formally opened the earth facility by cutting a ribbon.

The new road, measuring 3200 feet long and 10 feet wide, was constructed at a cost of K 12.37 million, of which K 10 million was from the development fund of the RDD and K 2.37 million was contributed by local people. Min Myintmo ( Ngazun)
