A ceremony to inaugurate a new isolation ward, donated by Daw Khin Sein and to hand over it to Mudon People’s hospital was held in the compound of Mudon People’s hospital this morning.

 

Firstly, chairman of the Township Administration Council U Pyae Thein delivered an opening speech and explained the donation of isolation ward for Mudon People’s hospital. Then, Dr. Wat Hmone from the people’s hospital spoke words of thanks to the donors.

 

Afterwards, donor Daw Khin Sein handed over documents relating to the new isolation ward to Dr. Kyaw Moe Naing, medical superintendent of Mudon people’s hospital. This was followed by the presentation of certificate of honor to donors. Then, officials cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the isolation ward. 

 

The new isolation ward measuring 94 ft. in length, 33 ft. in width and 16 ft. in height was built with Ks. 114 million including Ks. 100 million donated by Daw Khin Sein, over Ks. 4 million donated by other donors and over Ks. 10 million contributed by regional government.
