A ceremony to open a new law office was held in Okpho, Tharrawaddy District, Bago Region this morning.

At the event, U Onh Myint, Advocate General of Bago Region, the region law officer U Khin Maung Lwin, the region Hluttaw Representative U Saw Thura Aung and the district law officer U Soe Moe Than cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the new office and unveiled the signboard of the office and sprinkled scented water on it.  

Afterwards, the region Advocate General U Onh Myint delivered an opening speech and the township law officer Daw May Sandi Oo explained the construction works of the office. The new office measuring 50 ft. in length, 30 ft. in width was built by Min Thwe Paing Company.

 
Then, Director of Min Thwe Paing Company U Naing Win handed over the proper documents relating to the new building to the region law officer U Khin Maung Lwin. Afterwards, the township law officer Daw May Sandi Oo spoke words of thanks, which brought the event to an end.—Aung Thu (Okpho)
