A ceremony to open a new library was held in conjunction with a book donation event in Ward-4, Kanma Township in Magway Region this morning.

Also present on the occasion were the lawmakers, departmental staff and local people. First, the Pyithu Hluttaw Representative U Sein Han cut a ceremonial ribbon to open the library and well-wishers and officials from the Information and Public Relations Department donated cash and stationery to the library.

The one-storey library is 30 ft. long and 25 ft. wide and was constructed with financial contributions by a donor from Yangon.
