A ceremony to open a new office of Central Statistical Organization (CSO) was held at the compound of its office in Pyigyitagon Township, Mandalay Region this morning.

First of all, Deputy Director of CSO U Than Zaw, Deputy Director Mandalay Region Education officer’s Office U Maung Kye, U Aung Swe from Budget Department and departmental officials cut a ceremonial ribbon to open the new office and posed for a group photo.

Afterwards, deputy Director of CSO U Than Zaw delivered a speech and an official from the Region CSO spoke words of thanks. Then, officials looked round the new office.

The five-story building measuring 50 ft. in length and  40 ft. in width was built by spending K 380 million.
