A ceremony to open a new office of Department of Rural Development was held in the town of Mongshu, Shan State this morning.

At the event, MP Daw Nan Kaung Kham of No. 2 constituency of regional Hluttaw, staff officer of the district DRD U Soe Myint, the township Administrator U Soe Min Htut and departmental officials cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the new office.

Then, Managing Director of Tetyaungchi Company Daw Tin Tin Nwe handed over the proper documents relating to the new building to staff officer of the township DRD U Min Oo.

The new office measuring 40 ft. in length, 50 ft. in width and 23 ft in height was built by spending K 92.72 million allocated by the regional government.
