A ceremony to open a new police Outpost was held at Khuamnwe Village, Suangpet village-track in Tonzang Township, Chin State yesterday.

First of all, the Township Administrator Salai Thaung and the commander of the Township Police Station Police Major Soe Myint Oo cut a ribbon to open the new police Outpost.

Afterwards, the Township Administrator Salai Thaung delivered an opening speech and Police Major Soe Myint Oo clarified the purpose of opening a new police Outpost in the village.

Ten police members including an officer are deployed at the new Outpost, it is learnt.—Hung Ge Ki, Township IPRD
