A ceremony to open a new road by Demoso Township Rural Development Department in 2018-2019 facial year was held at Batlane village, Demoso Township, Kayah State this morning with an introductory speech by Minister of Kayah State Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Boss Ko.
Head of Demoso Township Rural Development Department U Kyaw Lin Aung explained about the salient points of community driven project in Kayah State. The officials presented a certificate of honor and a committee member from Batalane Village Project Committee expressed thanks.
Next, the minister, the head of rural development department and the township administrator formally opened the ceremony by cutting the ceremonial ribbons and then sprinkled the scented water on stone inscription.
The road is 2590 feet long, 12 feet wide and 9 inches high which was built at a cost of over K 27 million out of the community driven project fund and local contributions. –Township (IPRD)
