A new structure for members of the Sangha built in the compound of the public hospital in Pyapon Township; Ayeyawady Region was inaugurated on 26 May.
    

 

The congregation shared the merits gained, and presented certificates of honour to the donors. Next, the chairman of the township Sangha Maha Nayaka committee Bhaddanta Wathawa, a prominent Buddhist monk, regional lawmaker U Bo Bo Min Zaw, Deputy Commissioner U Aye Lin and concerned officials cut a ceremonial ribbon to open the new Sangha hospital.
    

 

The one-storey new Sangha hospital is 60 ft. long, 35 ft. wide and was built with over Ks. 60 million donated by the Buddhist monks, legislators, departmental staff, town elders and well-wishers.—Thuzar Ngwe (Pyapon)
