A ceremony to hand over a newly-built school building to Education Department was held at the Basic Education Primary School in Linphung Village in pinlaung Township, the Pa'O Self-Administered Zone in Shan State(South) at 10:00 am on July 27.

First of all, member of the Township Administration Council Major Nyi Nyi Min, the Township Police Chief, Police Major Zaw Win Naing, the Township Education officer U Tin Nywe, in charge person of Mudita Foundation U Khun Aung Sein and departmental officials cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the school.

Next, Chairman of the Township Administration Council Major Nyi Nyi Min and the Township Education officer U Tin Nywe delivered speeches. Afterwards, in charge person of Mudita Foundation U Khun Aung Sein handed over documents related to school facility to respective officials and explained matters pertaining to the construction works of the school facility.

The newly-built school with four class rooms and one office room measuring 90 ft. in length, 30 ft. in width and 12 ft. in height was constructed with Ks. 48.15 million including Ks. 15.6 million contributed by Mudita Foundation and Ks. 32.53 million contributed by well-wishers.—Khun Aung (Naungtayar)
