A new school building was opened in Tamanchaung village in Ngapudaw township, Ayeyaewady region this morning with opening speeches by village administrator Mann Khin Maung Htwe and Assistant Township Education Officer U Myo Lwin.
Then, Naw Sar Sae Pho of the Township Rural Development Department presented the works undertaken under people-oriented projects. Then, Assistant Township Education Officer U Kyaw Lwin pressed a button to unveil the stone inscription of the school, sprinkling scented water on it.
Afterwards, Naw Sar Sae Pho handed over documents relating to the new school building to officials from education department. The new school building measures 90 feet in length, 30 feet in width and 12 feet in height. It was constructed at a total cost of K 43.121225 million, of which K 36. 389575 million was from the RDD’s development fund and K 6. 731650 was contributed by the villagers.
