A ceremony to open Basic Education Middle School was held in Paukmyaing Village in Lewe Township, Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory at about 10:00 am on 18 November.
First, Chairman of the Township Administration Council U Myint Saung, deputy staff officer of the Township Education officer’s office U Sein Lin and village Administrator U Maung Myint cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the school.
Afterwards, chairman of the Township Administrator U Myint Saung delivered an opening speech. Next, deputy staff officer of the Township Education officer’s office U Sein Lin clarified the purposes of the opening of the school in Paunkmyaing Village. Afterwards, headmistress of the school discussed matters relating to construction work of the school.
Then, a community leader spoke words of thanks to the government for opening of the school in the village. Next, students performed Myanmar traditional dance. There are a total of 264 Basic Education schools in Lewe Township. Out of them, five schools were opened in 2022-2023 Academic years.—Wei Kyi(IPRD)
