A ceremony to open a new stadium was held at the sports hall of the stadium in Mongkung Township, Shan State (south) on 1 February.

Chairman of the Township Administration Council U Aung Soe Oo, member of the Township Administration Council Major Aung Myat Thwin and community leader U Sai Lung attended the event and cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the stadium.

The facility measuring 200 ft. in length and 100 ft. in width was built with fund provided by regional government in 2020-2021 FY. A total of 100 people including chairman of the Township Administration Council and members, community leader and students attended the event.—Township IPRD
