A ceremony to launch non-formal primary education program took place at No.1 Basic Education High School in Pantanaw Township, Maubin District, Ayeyawady Region yesterday.

On the occasion, Township Administrator U Ye Min Aung gave opening remarks and a regional supervisor U Tint Swe from NFPE program clarified the process of non-formal primary education program. A Township Education Officer also said that the six bases for NFPE program have been opened in the Township and a total of 12 teachers taught 49 students in the first phase and 48 the second phase.

Then three outstanding students who passed the 2018-2019 matriculation examination and other outstanding students were awarded. Next, the students who are studying in this academic year were also furnished with stationery and cash aids by the officials.
