Yangon, 8 April

A ceremony to open an office of National League for Democracy party was held yesterday   on Thitsa Road in Ward-78, Dagon Myothit (Seikkan) Township,Yangon Region.

The ceremony started by saluting the state flag, Bogyoke Aung San and fallen martyred leaders, NLD flag, observing a few second silence for those who sacrificed their lives for the democracy movement.

At the ceremony, U Thein Oo, member of NLD CEC , U Phyo Min Thein, Yangon Region Chief Mininster, U Naing Ngan Lin, the region Social Affairs Minister, U Tin Maung Tun, the region Hluttaw Chairman, U Maung Maung Soe, Yangon Mayor . U Tun Myint, secretary of the Region NLD Executive Committee cut a ribbon to formally open the new office.

Afterwards, the region Chief Minister U Phyo Min Thein and Secretary of the Region NLD Executive Committee U Tun Myint delivered opening speeches. The ceremony came to an end after U San Myaing, secretary of Dagon Myothit( Seikkantha) Township NLD Executive Committee spoke words of thanks.
