Madaya, 23 June

No casualties were reported after a fire broke out at an abandoned poultry farm in a village, Madaya Township in Mandalay Region.

The fire is believed to have started from ember from a garbage dump at about 4 a.m. on 23 June and spread nearby abandoned poultry farm belonging to U Khin Maung Win. 

Firefighters together with axillary firemen brought the fire under control 20 minutes later and completely put out the flame 25 minutes later with the use of three fire engines by joining hands with volunteers from a local social organization.

The blaze destroyed the poultry farm but no one was injured in the incident.
