The DD-1216 coach of the No.247-Up train derailed between the Htobu station and Moegaung station yesterday.

The township authorities helped the customers who are to proceed to their destinations. Steps have been taken to repair the rail tracts by the Myanma Railways.

“Now we are waiting a crane from Mandalay and upon arrival, the traffic will return to normal”, said an official from the department.
