A ceremony to open Gokdwin Bridge was held in Naungcho Township, Shan State (North) this afternoon.

At the event, Shan State Chief Minister Dr. Lin Htut delivered an opening speech. Then, Director of the township Road Management Department U Kyaw Kyaw Win explained matters relating to the bridge and a local spoke words of thanks to officials.

Afterwards, Pyithu Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Tun Tun Hein, Shan State CM Dr.Lin Htut, the State Transport Minister U Khun Ye Htwe, the regional lawmaker U Myint Shwe, the Pyithu Hluttaw Representative U Sai Tun Aung cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the bridge.

The bridge measuring 210 ft. in length was built with budget allocated by the regional government.—Htwenge(Naungcho)
