The township election sub-commission organized electoral training course for the polling station officers in the town of Magway, Magway Region on 23 October.

At the event, chairman of the township election sub-commission U Tin Soe Win clarified the purpose of the training course. Then, the secretary of the township election sub-commission U Saw Lwin introduced the subjects to be taught to the trainees in the training course and urged the trainees to abode rules released by Ministry of Health and Sports amid the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic.

The training courses aim to lecture about the electoral law, bylaw, and procedures to be followed by the polling station officers and deputy polling station officers, said U Tin Soe Win, Chairman of the township election sub-commission.

The two-day training course is being attended by 602 trainees from wards and villages in the township. The township election sub-commission is conducting electoral training course in accordance with the rules released by Ministry of Health and Sports amid the outbreak of COVID-19 Pandemic.—Than Naing Oo(Ngape)
