With the aim of boosting the income of local people and their socio-economic status, loans for the implementation of emerald green projects were disbursed to members of village emerald green projects committee in eight villages in Oktwin Township, Bago Region.

Altogether 890 people from eight villages in the township received K 324.36. Personnel from the township DRD disbursed loans of the project to members of village emerald green project committee in accordance with the rules released by Ministry of Health and Sports amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.—Khin Ko(Kyauktaka)
