Officials from the Township Department of Rural Development inspected the construction of concrete paving work of road in Setgon Village in Zalun Township, Ayeyarwady Region this morning.
The concreted road measuring 1700 ft. in length, 12 ft. in width and six inches in thickness was constructed by local people with Ks. 14.1 million including Ks. 10 million of DRD’s allocated funds in 2022-2023 fiscal years and Ks. 4.1 million contributed by local people. During the inspection tour, officials met with the villagers and gave necessary instructions.
Once completed, it will benefit local people from the village, helping them transport rural products to the markets in a timely manner, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.—Maung Khaing(DRD)
