Kayin State Ministers met with local residents in Wuttgyi village-tract in Hpa-an Township, Kayin State at a hall of Basic Education High School in Wuttgyi village yesterday.

 

First, Kayin State Minister for Planning, Finance and Municipal Affairs U Than Naing, State Minister for Electricity and Industry U Soe Hlaing, State Minister for Immigration and Human Resource U Min Ko Khaing gave opening remarks. Next, the officials provided national identification cards which were jointly conducted by Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population and Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) to students and local residents.

 

Afterwards, the attendees asked for to furnish desks for BEHS in the village and to construct rural road, rural clinic and staff housing. Then, the State Ministers responded to the demands of the local residents.

 

In addition, electricity supply project and construction of concrete road are being implemented in the village. Upon completion, it will bring the socioeconomic development of the local residents in the village.
