A ceremony to issue National Registration Cards to local people was held at the office of ward-6 Administrator in Hpa-an Township, Kayin State on 28 September.

The collective granting of NRCs to local people was conducted in accordance with Pankhin Project by staff from the Township Department of Immigration and Population.

Staff led by U Min Naung from the township Department of Immigration and Population issued NRCs to 35 local people in accordance with Covid-19 health guidelines set by the Ministry of Health.

The Township Department of Immigration and Population issued 7469 National Registration Cards in Hpa-an Township, 3725 cards in Hlaingbwe Township and 487 cards in Thandaungkyi Township on 27 September in accordance with Pakhin Project.—District IPRD
