The second-day peace talks between the National Soli­darity and Peacemaking Ne­gotiation Committee-NSP­NC and the delegation of the Restoration Council of Shan State-RCSS was held yester­day morning at the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Centre in Nay Pyi Taw.

Lt-Gen Win Bo Shein, Sec­retary of the National Solidar­ity and Peacemaking Negotia­tion Committee-NSPNC, and members, RCSS Secretary 1 Sao Sai Ngin, Central Execu­tive Committee member Sao Saung Han and Central Steer­ing Committee member Sao Sai Han attended the meeting.

During the meeting, both sides continued discussing and negotiating the issues that had not been completed on the first day of the meeting. After two days of discussions and nego­tiations, final agreements were signed, and NSPNC presented books on world affairs, Myan­mar affairs, and ethnic affairs published by the Ministry of Information and gifts to the RCSS delegation. — MNA/TS
