Officials inspected the completion of concrete road in Konbaung Village in Kyaukphyu Township, Rakhine state this morning.

 

During the inspection tour, officials led by U Aung Thet Oo, staff officer of the District DRD met with members of village development Committee and gave necessary instructions.

 

The concrete road measuring 1500 ft. in length, 12 ft. in width and eight inches in thickness is being constructed by a private tender winning company with Ks. 62.779 million allotted by regional government in 2021-2022 FY. 

 

Construction works of the road began the fourth week of January this year and now it has been completed by 80 percent. Once completed, it will benefit 100 acres of farmland of 779 people from 209 households in the village, according to an official from the Township DRD.—Soe Moe Kyaw
