Officials from the Township Department of Rural Development inspected the completion of concrete paving work of road in Tapin Village in Mong La Township, Shan State (East) this morning.
During the inspection tour, officials led by U Thet Nyi Nyi from the Township Department of Rural Development under Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development met with members of village development committee and stressed the importance of quality construction and maintenance.
The concreted road measuring 450 ft. long, 10 ft. wide and six inches thick was constructed by engineers from the Township DRD with Ks. 15.29 million including Ks. 10 million of DRD’s allocated funds in 2022-2023 fiscal years and Ks. 5.29 million contributed by local people. The construction of concrete paving work of road began the first week of July this year and now, all the projects were completed 100 percent.
The road will benefit 142 local people from 33 households in the village, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.—Cho Than Nyunt(DRD)
