Officials from the Township Department of Rural Development inspected the completion of concrete paving work of road in Daw Yin Gon Village in Myothit Township of Magway Region this morning.

During the inspection tour, officials from the Township Department of Rural Development met with members of village development Project Committee and stressed the importance of quality construction and maintenance of the road.

The construction of concrete road measuring 760 ft. in length, 12 ft. in width and six inches in volume has been started since the third week of September this year by a tender winning company with K 15 million of DRD’s funds in this fiscal year and K 4.03 million contributed by local people and now, all the projects have been completed by 100 percent.

The road brings benefits to 1214 local people from 286 households in the village, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.—A htway(DRD)
