Monghpyak, 8 November
Officials from the Township Department of Rural Development inspected the construction works of rural road in Namhhwaylung Village in Monghpyak Township, Shan State (East) this morning.
During the inspection tour, officials met with members of village development committee and gave necessary instructions.
The rural road measuring one mile in length, 12 ft. in width and one ft. in thickness is being constructed by a tender winning company with Ks. 56.92 million of DRD’s allocated funds in 2022-2023 fiscal years. The construction works of the road have been implemented since 20 September this year and all the projects were completed 60 percent so far.
Once completed, it will benefit 60 acres of farmland of 98 local people from two villages in the township, helping them transport rural products to the markets in a timely manner, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.—Zin Mar Oo(DRD)
